I use Ubuntu with Evolution here at work, and we have an Exchange server. Just curious - can I somehow suck up all of the addresses in the global address list and somehow save them locally and import them to Evolution? Since I can't "link" to the global list it would at least be handy for me to utilize locally. Thoughts?

Not yet.

The upstream version of Evolution supports GAL, but the current version in 10.04 doesn't.

Hmm, interesting. Can I PPA Evolution to make it happen? Is the version coming in 10.10 upstream enough to have that capability?
