problem with synaptic manager

I am trying to install new packages through synaptic manager but following error occurs everytime . Not able to figure it out :( .

You are using Ubuntu 9.04, which is running out of support in a month. Maybe the best advice is to try a live boot of 10.04 and a clean install, if it works well.
