Hey there,
I have been googling this for a while now and i just can't get anywhere with this.
I have 2 monitors (one samsung and one philips) hooked up to a ATI 9200 SE vide card (i know, bad choice :) ).
Yesterday when i received the second monitor, everything was working smoothly, automatically detected and configured for extended desktop (not mirrored), however today after powering on my computer i noticed that both monitors are mirrored (the config is for extended desktop).
It seems that both monitors are detected as SAMSUNG and even if i can change config on the PHILIPS monitor, these changes are not reflected on either physical device (both think they are the SAMSUNG monitor).
Any clues how can i get past this and have the extended desktop back?
Btw, it's ubuntu 10.04.
