There shutting down the 64bit forum...not sure whether this is the right place...
Installed 10.10beta 64bit on the lappy....I'm assuming all the software in the repository is compatible
but what about something like Adobe Reader...Will it install and function as 32bit or do I have to find a 64bit version?

I am using 32-bit Adobe Reader on a 64-bit machine. To do that, you will need to install additional 32-bit libraries, however, unless you are dealing with a driver or plugin, 32-bit apps work just fine under 64-bit Linux (the stability of 64-bit is what caused the forum to be closed, there is no longer the need for a special forum).
