View Full Version : [ubuntu] Booting fails after update to Kernel 2.6.34

Hi
I recently got the Message, that i should do a partial System Upgrade. It included an update to Kernel 2.6.34. Since this update, i cannot boot with this kernel:
Mounting none on /dev/ failed... i can still boot with older kernels, but many drivers including wifi and graphics drivers dont work there anymore.
hope you can help me

+1 there seem to a lot of posts about this "problem."

@ derlukers

Can you let us know please what graphics card and wifi card you have installed.

I have a NVidia Quadro FX 350 m, using newest nvidia drivers, from the nvidia homeapge, and an Intel wireless card using iwl3945 wireless drivers
