Sound Driver - Please help

Having trouble with sound..
For some reason when I raise my bar for sound it goes very loud. When I lower the the sound, the sound completely turns off when there are two bars left. It might be the driver, I really don't know what to do. If any one can help me; I will gratefully appreciate it, thank you and have a great evening.

Well, I can't it's very annoying. I previously didn't have this problem on 8.04.
