Hi all ;)

I'm looking for a program that allows me to create website.
For the past years, Frontpage and Dreamweaver really helped me out, but none of these are working on Ubuntu.

Just wondering: is there an alternative for Ubuntu?

I've gotten Dreamweaver 8 running in Ubuntu back in the day using WINE. I wouldn't recommend using WINE unless absolutely necessary. If I remember correctly scream is WYSIWYG type editor that is in the Ubuntu repositories. I haven't used it though. I usually prefer to just code pages with text editor.

Bluefish and/or Kompozer. Both are in the repos....

Although he won't have any more luck with Mint than Ubuntu with respect to web development. And considering it's based on Ubuntu anyway, there's not much change.

SeaMonkey Composer is less buggy than Kompozer. There is also a program in the repository whose name I can't remember, but it starts with a G and it is WYSIWYG. A basic program but quite promising.
