Hi gang
So i've heared good things about Ubuntu and i wanna try it, alas, both methods I try (using the Wubi.exe downloader AND downloading the whole 10.4 ISO and burning it) don't work because every time I try to boot with Ubuntu (to try/install it) I see the purple "UBUNTU" screen and then a black DOS like screen with the message:

(iniframfs) /scripts/casper-premount/20ISO_scan:line 46 Can't open /dev/sr0 No medium found.

Could not find the ISO /ubuntu/install.ubuntu-10.4.1-desktop-amd64......blah blah blah... "

and it says i should run CHKDSK -R then reboot twice.. i tried it and it doesn't help I get this screen every time.
any ideas? I really fancy this Ubuntu thingy. (as a dual boot side by side my already installed XP SP3.

I'm using a Dell Vosrto Dell 500

I am having this exact same problem verbatim.

(iniframfs) /scripts/casper-premount/20ISO_scan:line 46 Can't open /dev/sr0 No medium found.

Have you gotten an answer?
