I have saved all my important 'Home files' from Karmic and was wondering if there is an easy way to save bookmarks in my browsers? I use 3 browsers, FF, Chrome and Opera. They must have over 100 bookmarks between them. Reloading all them bookmarks one by one is pretty tedious. Is there some easy way to save all of them from Karmic to Lucid, since I prefer to do a clean install upgrade to Lucid?

Have you tried using an online-storage for you bookmarks? I used to have over 9000! bookmarks on my PC.

Now I have them all on my xmarks add-on. It auto syncs when I want it to, and as long as I'm near a PC i can access any and all my bookmarks.

The add-on is available for Opera / FF / Chrome and even IE!

http://www.xmarks.com/

Check it out, hope this helps yah!

Firefox is bookmarks to orginize bookmarks to backup and will make a .json file and then just import into new install in Firefox.

Thanks for the ideas so far. If anyone else has other ways to save browser bookmarks, hope you pass them on also. Opera is my fav where most of the bookmarks are located.
