What language is that?

Skype for Linux apparently doesn't speak English. When I made a call to "echo" for testing I got a message in some language that sounded a bit like German even though my setting is English. I tried Google but there is no info about that. Wonder what language is that and why this happened.:P

I would advise you ask the Skype people about that. Or the maintainers of however you installed it.

Lucid. Well actually it doesn't work (can't hear my own voice in playback) but I haven't tried trouble shooting it yet. When I get around to it I may have to make a thread in the beginner forum. For now I just notice this oddity and it seems better to post it here where everyone just sort of shoots the breeze. :P
