When using Adobe Reader as I move the mouse pointer below the menu bar into the reading area of the window, the mouse appears to the left about 1/3 of the screen width. The actual position of the mouse control remains constant - which means if I click and drag the mouse appears on one side of the screen but text is being selected on the other side of the screen.
this same problem occurs in Open Office, but only when using the "format paintbrush" tool.
I don't know which package is causing the problem and I searched the forums but couldn't find anyone else with the same issue.
