Gnome Panel Applet Drawer

Hello,

I'm looking for a Gnome panel applet that allows me to create a menu of items. The Draw applet is similar to what I need, but it does not show labels for the items.

I need labels as many of the items have the same icon.

Using Alacarte is no good as it only allows the creation sub-menus of the Applications and System menus, not top-level menus. Besides I want my custom menu on the opposite end of the panel to the main menu.

Any help greatly appreciated.

file-browser-applet

make a folder & put the apps in there
add the path to file-browser-applet
you can add folders with in the folder for sub menus

give me a sec & i'll do a moc up.
