USB speed looks ok I guess ?

This how I installed it:
1. Unplug HD
2. CD installation and select UBS flash drive no problems.
Is this the right way to do the installation?

Every thing works ok but very slow?

Any help will be welcome.!

The process of installation was quite right.

There is vast difference between the speed of an HDD and that of a Flash Drive. You'll continue to feel that difference. Your PC is quite capable of running Ubuntu so no problems there.

If you want full speeds and responsiveness, install it on HDD. Thats what I can say.

It is normal for a USB flash install to be slower than a regular HDD install.

The flash drive install may get a little faster with use.

Attached page shows how to get Ubuntu to run in RAM which should super fast and make the installed media immaterial. (I have not tried it yet though)
