720p resolution or better. Low light I plan on using this outside facing my door. About 12 feet from the door.
I will plug it in with a usb2.0 over cat5e converter.
I will go more expensive if someone suggests a good camera for more but I would like something under $50.
Reasoning:
Security cameras that I have seen had poor to just ok quality for $300+ and it only got it to an RCA style coax plug that would need another card for my computer. USB cams are considerably cheaper and I am going to have a computer running all the time anyways.
I was looking at the creative 73VF061000000 model but I have seen mixed reviews on it. Some claiming poor with low light others claiming success with low light.
