Hello,

I am Sandy. I'm doing some researches for my Master. I need some information about refurbished hardware, that's why I register here ;-)

My question is: what is your opinion about refurbished hardware ? Do you think it is just a trend or the future of hardware ?

Thank you for your feedbacks

S.

Hi,

this is a Ubuntu Linux forum and I am missing the connection between your question and refurbished hardware. Ubuntu will run fine with refurbished parts as long as they are operational.

How can refurbished hardware be the future, when it is basically new hardware that has been broken and then fixed.

It is fine if you are short on cash, but if you can afford new hardware you should buy new hardware.

What kind of research you are working on? A computer that has been repair and sold as a working computer is consider as refurbish computer. Hardware is a general term for IT product like printers and some high end scanners.
