I have used Ubuntu for years now. Among the things I use is TeX. I
have loaded texlive (several different ways) and it tells me that I have
"dependency" issues. If I simply run the update manager for periodic
upgrades, I get error messages about the state of texlive. Sure, I can
live without it. I can do all of my TeX stuff on the Suse box or on the
iMac. But that is not my first choice.
I have run all of the apt-get cleans and apt-get updates and apt-get
repairs that I can discover. The real question is: How do I fix this
problem?
