I have a system running Kubuntu 10.04 with a Nvidia 9800 GX2 and dual monitors. Since I'm running one monitor per GPU, I have to use xinerama to make the x-desktop span 2 screens.

Now I've heard the grumblings about xinerama not playing nice with openGL, but all of posts were talking about openGL not rendering on the second monitor, or composting just not working. My issue is that I can't get ANY opengl program to run. Google earth shows a splash screen, then crashes.

I am running the most recent version of the drivers available in the repos. I tried to run the drivers provided by Nvidia, but there is a bug that won't let me install them under lucid.

So has anyone made this combo work? I'm not even sure what debug info you would like to see. If I were to buy a DVI splitter and just run the two screens off of one port with twin-view, would that clear everything up?
