I have some realmedia audio files saved on my PC and would like to convert them to MP3 format. I've taken a look and see there are a number of applications that claim to convert formats. Any recomendations or ones I should avoid? I don't need anything particularly fancy just a reliable fomat conversion.

Thanks :)

I'd sooner choose to convert that lossy mess to OGG. Btw, RM = Movie, RAM = is supposed to be its audio equiv. but no one uses it for some reason.

I would try something like Audacity. I find XP to the be the best OS for that type of thing because it has a better mixer. One of the advantages of dual boot ;-) RM is a highly proprietary format. That's why MP3 won the battle of online music when the two were the main compressed formats used on the web.

And MP3 isn't?
