I need windows 7 for school so I have it on my desktop, it has a tv tuner. I was wondering if I could somehow stream from media center to myth tv on my laptop. I know myth tv to myth tv works, and media center to media center works. Any chance media center to myth tv works?

you could always try to share the folder to where all the files are recorded to. but a problem with Windows is that they DRM the files...

I do know that you can uPnP for streaming to VLC...

I did not but after looking I found you myth tv *is supported* on windows, I had mythtv before on linux but never could get the tv schedule. Is there any way I can get that free?
