My computer restarts when i click install in ubuntu's boot CD or us the live option ?

Hello everyone!
I'm trying to install ubuntu 10.04 but my computer restarts even if i chose the direct install or the live trying option

it boots from the CD but it keeps restart if i chose either one of the options .


then i tried to install other Linux distribution like "Mandriva" which I installed it before and worked smoothly on my computer now its not working and makes the same as ubuntu

and for you yes i did set BIOS to boot from the CD-ROM drive before the HDD

because if its not it will go directly to Windows 7 which already installed in my computer not restart

Well, then perhaps there is a problem with the CD itself.

Did you check the MD5SUM after downloading?

Did you burn the .iso at the lowest speed possible?

Is it a SATA drive?
