hello every1.
i had a very strange issue today, here is what happened :
1) my laptop (acer aspire 5630, intel centrino duo, 1Gb of ram, nvidia go 7300, with dual boot ubuntu 10.04 and windows vista.) was working properly with no tasks what so ever.
2) came back with the laptop shut down.
3)i tried to power it.... it hangs for several seconds and shut down
4)second attempt gone ok, got into ubuntu but after 4 minutes it shutted down suddenly.
5)another try, logging into windows and same problem.
6) i tried to unplug the power and the battery, and got them on again
7) its working for now, nearly 40 minutes... no shut down.
8)but my cpu led indicator is dead now.

my question is what the hell happened? the temp. mesured after this with xsensors is 47 to 55 ....obiously it is not an ubuntu issue since with windows it was the same! power?
what could have caused that? and what should i do now?
thanks a lot

p.s the laptop is 4 years old! but with ubuntu it still rocks..!
