Hi,
I'm running 32 bits ubuntu on an i3-330m HP laptop, and previously the 64 bit version, with the same issue.
The issue I'm coping with is that when I run certain games, suddenly the volume control goes haywire and starts oscillating up and down and even when I mute the sound, it immediatly unmutes and keeps on rocking.
If this were windows, I would say it happens to applications using directx for sound, because applications like mines and solitaire etc, don't cause this glitch, so maybe it's some bug between alsa and pulse (just a wild guess)...
Can someone help me with this and what info is needed ?
