I was thinking of building a new machine and kinda need help figuring out what parts I can put into a BIOSTAR Eco v1 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856115032) barebones kit.

While I get I will need to obtain Ram, A Hard drive, and a CD/DVD rom(s) (Or writer(s)) and can tell what types I will need what I am not getting from this barebones specs is what type of cpu and heatsink to pick out on newegg, nor graphics card (assuming what I am reading isn't appling that there is a default onboard one.)

I mean would this CPU be acceptable?:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103839

And if so how can I tell what heatsink to get with it? And am I missing something else with this?

it tells you "on the box" Eco v1 = via c7 1.6 GHz processor and Cn896 Northbridge and it comes with "passive cooling" - quote - -CPU & chipset has passive cooling, for better and for worse -rock solid stable as long as you don't push it too far w/o appropriate cooling - end quote

I guess you could ask for a CPU with conventional cooling - fins and fans - but then it won't be the Eco v1

Oh so i don't need to get a processor + heatsink or GPU huh? hmm would the heatsink still work for it? )

(To Anyone)
So is the list alright? Is something incompatible with the barebones kit that I don't realize? Am I missing anything essential? (Aside from monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers, well speakers not really essential but details...)

Mite wanna do a little more research on the graphics card that u're buying

The Barebone comes with 250W psu so unless u're thinking of upgrading it u will need a different gpu. (also this one's a low profile and the barebone seems like a full size desktop)

I'm not a hardware guru myself, but I'd say everything on the list seems fine (everything not marked as removed, of course). So, basically you need 3 things besides the mobo/cpu: the memory module, the hard disk, and the cd-dvd drive. And as for compatibility, everything seems ok too.

Regards.

Item 3 is a hard disk, and item 2 is a DVD/CD Burner which by default also reads CD/DVDs, so hard-disk & CD-DVD driver are covered are they not? Also item 5 are two sticks of ram. And I thought it came with a CPU? If not will item 6 work (which is marked as removed)?

Sorry googling revealed that "VIA C7-D" is a processor, so I guess I'm good to go. Been working on a template (unusually focused too), while I may have paused work on it, my mind hasn't :/

So I still got to get a gpu too huh? hmm...

Wait a minute nvm, just googled, VIA Chrome9 HC, apparently it is a built in graphics card so i don't need one.

Not ideal if your a hardcore gamer but meh should handle web design activites well enough.

The cpu and the gpu are both on board, which means they come already attached to the motherboard, so you don't need to worry about them. As for the ram, you still need it. And as for the hard disk and cd/dvd drive, they're shown as "extras" in the website, so it doesn't seem they come included, unless you select them when you buy the motherboard/cpu (paying some "extra" money, of course :)).

I know about those three, and I listed them, the ones I plan on getting anyway, in the items in post 3.

Side note sense this post the pricing on all the non-removed items went down. or at least shipping, now to save up the $203.73 and hope its still that price or lower when I get the money... I have the items saved in a wishlist on my newegg account so I can add them to cart when I get the money for it.
