Hi,

Recently changed to the Karmic Koala (9.10) Real-Time kernel to make hay with some MIDI and Sound Processing apps. All of this was done using standard command line apt tool. Also did install few apps (kids educational apps s.a. TuxPaint, Childsplay, KTurtle etc.), but did that using "Ubuntu Software Center" application. However after the Real-Time kernel upgrade, which required a reboot, I seem to have lost the launch button for the "Ubuntu Software Center", and can't figure out how to restore it.

Looking for tips and hints on how to get the ability to launch USC back !!

Thanks in anticipation.

regards,
BDutta

Found a solution. Realized that I could launch USC via command-line, like: /usr/bin/software-center
So, I just added a menu item explicitly via Preferences > Main Menu > New Item.
