Hi there:
following the instructions found at: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1046137 and the help of another member, I have succesfully upgraded, but when I run
hihihi100@hihihi100-laptop:~$ cat /proc/asound/version
cat: /proc/asound/version: No such file or directory
hihihi100@hihihi100-laptop:~$
nothing happens, plus, you may want to take a look at my ALSA information script: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=1b0fa73915fd1553ddd7b381181bb2a64abde167
