I just upgraded my server build from Ubuntu 8.04 to 10.4 LTS , after it took a long time to upgrade, was able to get back to my desktop , everything working just fine, except it will start the update manager and say it has these updates would you like to install them . I clicked install and the the box greys and it just stays that way and never ask for password like the previous build use to. How do I get it to finish the update, thanks for any help.
