Installing Ubuntu server while keeping SSD aligment

I'm trying to install Ubuntu server (minimal install) on my Dell Mini 9 netbook. I'm sure some of you have heard of the SSD alignment problem before. I have no problem fixing the alignment problem on the SSD but how can I install Ubuntu server with that alignment? Every time I try to install Ubuntu server the alignment fix is erased.
