ARM unveils processor for new markets; shares up

LONDON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - ARM Holdings (ARM.L) unveiled a new low-power processor for next-generation smartphones, mobile computing, servers and wireless networking on Thursday, sending shares in the British chip designer to an eight-year-high. The A15 processor, codenamed Eagle and part of ARM's Cortex A family, delivers five-times better performance than today's advanced smartphone processors, ARM said in a statement.

It will support functions such as 3D navigation, augmented reality -- where data is superimposed on real images -- and high-speed broadband...

I had some bought at 8.60 it was hovering around 11 then one day shot up to 12 on a rumor of an apple buy out which I thought was false, so I was like crap gotta sell before the buy out doesn't happen and it falls. So sold at 12 now it's over 18...I have so much remorse it's not even funny...
