Windows got Office we have OpenOffice.
Windows have Visio, Open Source alternative is Kivio.

So I'm wondering which alternatives are your must have for Ubuntu.
(For school, work, home). ):P

iTunes > Rhythmbox
Internet Explorer > Chromium, Firefox, Midori, etc
Photoshop > The GIMP

I must have a good terminal with bash and geany.. dont ask for more to do my job.

dont think they have any proper alternatives on the other side... perhaps cygwin

Thank you. In advance please do not tell me applications which are already in Ubuntu by default such as OpenOffice, Rhythmbox, Firefox,..

Visual Studio - MonoDevelop... (sort of works)
Lightroom - Bibble5/digiKam
Live Mesh - Unison
Synergy2 - Synergy2
