Don't ask me how but I somehow managed to throw away the shutdown button of my Lucid install.
In the panel screen I already found another shutdown button but it's not really the same.
Anyone have a clue where I can find the original back ?

"Indicator Applet Session" I think.

yep that did it, took me a while to find it in Dutch but found it anyway....they could've chosen a name that's a little clearer though..

FYI
To shutdown from a terminal:
sudo shutdown now
To reboot:
sudo shutdown -r now
You can switch to terminal mode: Ctrl-Alt-F1
There are 6 terminals, number 1 to 6: use F1 to F6. Ctrl-Alt-F7 brings you back to the GUI.
