View Full Version : Goodbye people

There will be an interruption in service, due to the fact that Wednesday I jump on a couple of planes to start life in Brazil with my fiancée (starting with a 3 month stretch).

I sadly have been unable to find any LUG in Florianopolis so far, but I doubt that will make a difference since I don't speak a word of Portuguese and Brazilians seemingly shun English to a degree where I was unable to even order a McBacon without translation.

So till I regain internet connection, I am out of here.

(you can stop cheering, I will be back)

And I am finally back online, currently via the local university's connection but service has been officially resumed. I am only on a netbook though, since my monitor for the nettop didn't fit in the suitcase.

also, if I was to demand my fiancée cook dinner in such a fashion I have been informed I will be sleeping on the floor. We tend to help each other with those tasks so it is no big problem.

afaik brazil has a large and active KDE dev population. Perhaps now you will "see the light" http://br.kde.org/Akademy-BR_2010
