Hey....I recently started using an Emerald theme...I actually followed a guide included with a wallpaper I downloaded that provided matching panel themes, etc. for a complete desktop transformation.

Anyway, in order to change the window borders, I have to run "emerald --replace" every single time I reboot...is there a way to make this change permanent?

GNOME? I'm guessing...

System > (Not sure) > Startup Programs > Add "emerald --replace"

system-> preferences-> start up applications.
Then click add , write a name , and type the command

emerald --replace .

And you are done.

Thanks guys. Thought it had something to do with that, but didn't want to break anything. Cheers!
