Update Problem

Hello guys,

I was installing the updates from Update-Manager in Ubuntu 10.04 and then there was a power failure. After this, whenever I start Ubuntu, it doesn't recognize my keyboard and mouse. I even have to shut down Ubuntu by directly switching off the power.

I have Windows 7 installed as dual boot and everything works fine with it.

A power drop during updating can make a real mess in the system. Maybe the fastest solution is reinstalling Ubuntu.
