Penguin Avatars

I see a lot of users have the modified 3d penguin avatar.
Where do these come from?
Or, do you all have crazy gimp/inkscape skills that I have yet to attain?

just type tux avatars into google images that will give you some of the basic ones others have done.

Please don't use one of those. They are terribly old, and most people (i.e. me) are sick of seeing them all over the Internet.

Don't worry Bachstelze, I don't think I'll use one, just was wondering if they were made by the users themselves or just downloaded. I am quite fond of my avatar as it is.

Thats not true, check out the tux factory (http://tux.crystalxp.net/) there are literally thousands of them 99% of which I've never seen, might pick one up my self.

Mine was custom made by alex.rayu (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1106602) and I never saw anyone else using it.
