hi.
the audio on my laptop worked fine but then i tried to install the realtek hd audio driver for linux x64 from here http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

the problem is i'm a total noob, and obviously something went wrong, i followed every step on the readme file, that said "make" "make install" & "reboot". I did that and got no sound no more.

is there any way to revert this driver? the "audio equipment" even disappeared from the System > Administration > Sound. there was once "stereo / analog" that was configured automaticly with ubuntu instalation, now there's empty.

or anyone can help me configure it properly? thanks.
