Hey there.

I'm fairy new to ubuntu - actually installed it for the second time of my life (gave it a try more) just yesterday.
It works brilliant.

The only problem I have is with the animations in Compiz. I got the CompizConfig Setting Manager and I'm operating from there.
It wont work.

I have installed my graphics driver, and the other effects work properly.

Any help is very appriciated ;)

Cheers.

Without knowing what exactly isn't working, here's a list to tick off:
Can you activate the Animations-module? (Does CCSM notify about conflicts?)
Have you set the animations to be triggered correctly?
Do you get any error-messages at all?

Can you go to System > Preferences > Appearence > Visual Effects and check if 'Extra' is checked? Did work for me :)

I do have the Animations Module activated, with everything triggered. I got no conflicts, and no error message at all.

@Stokbrood
I have that set to extra yes, and I have some effects on :P

Have you set the Duration and Window Match for the effects you want in the Open, Close, and other animation settings?

I just realized I've used the program incorrectly.
I assumed that "Random effects" would just apply random effects, but it didn't making me think it didn't work.

Thanks for your help guys.
