Ubuntu Community:
I know there are many threads on this, but I made my own because I am just one step away.
I typed this in:
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin sun-java6-fonts
That line was after the 1st two that I was told to type it and worked. But after writing that in, I got this:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package sun-java6-jre is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package sun-java6-jre has no installation candidate
Does anyone know what this other package is? I've been looking all over the forums.
