Hello,

I often want to move several layers in the GIMP at the same time. I can't however select more than one at the same time.
Is it somehow possible to move several layers simultaneously in the GIMP?

In the "Layers, Channels, Paths, Undo" dialog box, click on the Layers tab. (If it's not already available, you can get it by going to Windows in the top menu, going down to Dockable dialogs, and selecting Layers.) It will show you all the layers with an eye icon to the left of each to show that the layer is visible. If you mouse over the space between the eye icon and the icon for the layer itself, an outline of an empty selection box will appear. If you click on that, a bit of chain appears to show that layer is locked. Do the same thing for all the other layers you want to move at the same time. They should now be "locked" together.

(Iknow. Braindead UI that you can't even see the box and there's no indication anywhere what clicking it will do. :( )

Don't forget to unlock when you're done or you may get some unwanted effects when you don't expect it.
