I was using Dreamweaver CS3 for designing web. For last 40 days I have been using Ubuntu 10.04. Can you suggest the equivalent software for this?

It seems Bluefish is not as powerful as Dreamweaver. Any idea about Drupal?

I used a program called NVU (I think it is based in Kompozer), available both for Windows and Linux. It is up to the task, but some Dreamweaver privative features (such as Cold Fusion integration) were obviously not available.
But it is good for general purpuse HTML/CSS/JavaScript design/coding.

I tried Kompozer but found it unsatisfactorily complicated.
I've settled on Bluefish for the editing of HTML and CSS, Chrome for test-viewing, and FileZilla for uploading and downloading files to and from my Webpages.

If you need to use Dreamweaver, install Wine from winehq.org and then install Dreamweaver.
It runs perfectly.
