View Full Version : [kubuntu] edit avi metadata?

I've looked for but not found any way to edit the metadata of an avi (or flash) video file. I thought Nautilus would, but it only lets one add/edit notes.

What I'm looking for is whatever controls the text displayed in the window frame and such when the video is played. This must be added in a digital format when the file is created, but in some cases it is wrong, mis-spelled, or absent, so why can't I find a way to edit it?

What I'm looking for is analogous to the tag-editors that are ubiquitous for audio files, but specifically handles avi, mpg and such.
