I want to make a Live CD for Ubuntu 10.04. I've heard that it's recommended to use CD-Rs, but I only have CD-RWs. Would it be safe to use a CD-RW to make a Live CD? I don't want the CD to act up/fail during a live session.

I have used CD-RW without any problems, if that helps.

Just remember to burn at the lowest possible speed.

you will be just fine with cdrw. burn at low speed, but the best way is via usb imho.

I find Gnomebaker to be good because it can burn very slowly, I last used or 2x successfully.
