Hi everyone,

I'm having a few problems with my home server after i did 'sudo aptitude upgrade yesterday'

I receive an error message during boot:

init: bridge-network-interface (lo) pre-start process (585) terminated with status 2
init: bridge-network-interface (eth1) pre-start process (612) terminated with status 2

if I press s, it skips mounting my raid drive
(2x 1tb drives with 2 mirrored partitions and 1 striped partition)

when I try to mount with sudo mount /media/vortex

mount: special device UUID=5a8b9306-88ce-4e82-b7a9-e4b769d476ac does not exist

sudo mdadm --detail --scan doesn't bring anything up either?

It was all running perfectly for months, I'm no linux expert, but I'm no idiot either - I really don't know what to do, I've had no luck searching on the web for answers. And to be honest I don't know what to look for in log files

I'm not sure why its asking for bridge, although I did install it on a usb drive from livecd off another computer running as a virtual machine - Because my server has no cd/dvd drive its currently running off a usb drive untill I find/buy a small hard drive.

If anyone can help with advice or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!
