The new Arcade Fire video has been done in HTML5 and I think some people here will find this interesting (and not only Arcade Fire fans).
It works best on Chrome/Chromium but also works on Firefox 3.6.8, although the video does not play smoothly.

It's pretty cool. The place where you live thing doesn't work to well so you'd do better just putting in somewhere pretty.

It depends where you were grew up and whether Google has street-view images of the place. I think that the UK is mostly covered. I tried SE14 6DL which is where I used to live and it was quite good.

EDIT:
I think that the significance of this video is that it might just make HTML5 cool now that Arcade Fire used it. It was probably going to be hard to get the arty types out there not to think of HTML5 as a poor substitute for Flash. If anyone can get the über-cool people out there to pay attention it's Arcade Fire.
