Hi, am trying to get Ubuntu running on a new Dell Mini 10. I have followed all the instructions on this page.
http://www.ubuntu.com/netbook/get-ubuntu/download
I created the flash drive, and changed my BIOS settings to boot from flash before the HDD. Ubuntu trial boots just fine. My problems arise when trying to install so I don't have to boot from the flash drive every time.
I get through steps 1 and 2 with no problems. But when choosing my keyboard layout on step 3, it hangs. I select USA as my layout, click next, and it does nothing.
I have let it sit for around 2 hours. All I get is the spinning activity cursor. The only thing I can do is quit the installation. Anyone have any idea what I have done wrong? Am using a PNY 4GB flash drive.
