This was from a masked ebuild, so I don't know if its from the official release (I might have unmasked a very beta package, but w/e)

Has anyone seen the new KDE network manager widget?
They cleaned it up sooo much. It actually looks nice and organized now.

Isn't that the default Network Manager in KDE 4.5?

I am using KDE 4.5 . Yes it is the official network manager applet . It is very functional as well as useful . I don't know whether Kubuntu would default it . It would be good If they do so .

When I tested KDE 4.5 with Kubuntu it was the network manager that was installed by default on my system, no further actions were needed to get it.

Ill hopefully get 4.5 up and running within the next day or two, its gonna take a LONG time to compile everything....
At least it will likely be more stable cause im compiling it...
