ATI CCC causing problems with panels

Almost every time I use CCC when I close the window the tab still stays in my bottom panels window list. If I open up another window afterwards no image will appear in the window list for it but I can still click on where the window should be to maximize or minimize them. My clock also gets stuck at the same time and I can't add anything to my panels. A reboot will put everything back to normal but it's quite annoying since I switch between monitors quite a bit. Any ideas?

This only happens when I open CCC (administrative), the non admin option doesn't cause any problems. Also if it helps I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 64bit and CCC 10.4.

If nothing else, is there a way to set a keyboard shortcut so swap displays? Thats about the only thing I need to open CCC admin for. I know its possible in windows with the ATI Hotkeys but I don't see that in the Linux version.
