Okay, I spent all day yesterday upgrading all the way from like 8(?) to 10. I originally started out with Ubuntu studio 8.
So, I installed kubuntu and was getting random errors on the KDE, I can't recall what they were exactly. Anyway, I upgraded all the way to the very latest hoping that maybe this problem would have been resolved. Alas, to find that there is a new error.
First thing to pop up is: .ICEauthority errors that say they cannot update.
* This error displays at the start up of Gnome as well.
Second thing to pop up is: ksmserver unable to start
Now, I know that someone is going to tell me to search around, well, I have, but maybe my search tactics aren't very good? Haha, well, anyways any help is appreciated, I am going to search the forums and web a little more. I should be doing more productive stuff like writing scripts and stuff, but I am stuck doing this.
