I have a dual boot xp/ubuntu setup. 9.10 (karmic)
new to ubuntu.
1) if i were to upgrade to 10 are there some saveguards I should take first ?
2) if I want to wipe data only should I use DD or shred or bleachbit ? i have no clue to what the difference is. i tried to be smart and install something called nautilus
with shred component. i recieved a message "ell_preferences_get_boolean"
is there a fix ?
