encrypted home folder

Hi,

I have an encrypted home folder. I forgot my root password so I hit shift, dropped to shell and changed the password via the command prompt.

Now when I log in, it tells me that it can't start some nautilus service and just hangs at the desktop with no icons. I think I somehow have to change the encryption.

Anyone have any recommendations?
