I got my wife a netbook and it came with no os installed on it. I want to just install ubuntu on it so I made up the thumb drive with it on it using unetbootin and it loaded up. I have no sound and my mouse track pad does not work. I have tried to reinstall the os but it does not let me anymore. I am kind of at a loss on what to do to get my mouse / sound to work. Could it be also because there was no previous o/s installed and there is no driver present? Please help! It is a Asus EEE PC 1005HAB
